The staff of Valve have certainly been busy little beavers this week as they rolled out three updates today alone. The first update was for the Source engine, making the past week's BETA a live and pubilc release now.
The second update was for the HL1 engine, and the third update was for the Steam client. Read on for the full list of changes.
Steam Client
Fixed occasional hang on startup
Fixed IP address sorting order in the serverbrowser
Improved favorites list responsiveness when manipulating very large lists
Fixed server pings being too high if you ran Steam for more than a day
Fixed sometimes losing favorites when they were added in game
Fixed guest pass column showing in the media/tools page incorrectly
Half-Life 1 Engine
Prevent steam:// urls from being triggered from the MOTD
Fix for player names with really wide characters getting ellipses and being indistinguishable from one another in the scoreboard and spectator UIs
Source Engine
Replaced cl_interp with cl_interp_ratio. Server can limit it with sv_min_cl_interp_ratio and sv_max_cl_interp_ratio
Added sv_rcon_log to allow rcon logging to be disabled
Cheat protected many more cvars
